Is Your Garden Ready for Fall?

Written by Jungle Jim

Don't have time to switch seasons in your garden? This is the time to call the Garden Crew (523-2847) to get your end of summer maintenance done.

No, we can’t winter prune roses or fruit trees (yet), but there is a lot of other pruning that can be done to get ready for fall and winter. Fertilizing now gets plants ready for fall. Early weed control and prevention keeps the weeds from getting ahead of you next Spring.

There are lots of winter color plants that can be planted now as well. If you get your winter annuals planted early you will get more bang for your buck with fall, winter and some early spring bloom.

In addition, refurbishing or just replacing some of the tired plants that are no longer performing or are getting just too big to live with can be done now.

Our fall schedule can fill up fast, so call the Garden Crew at 523-2847 to get on our schedule now!
